I got into tech with zero experience. No connections, no roadmap, and for a long time no proof that people like me actually make it into these rooms. I got in anyway — and I’m still leveling up.

Junior Means Zero is me going and finding the people a few steps ahead — especially people from backgrounds you don’t see enough of in tech — and asking them the questions I needed answered when I was at zero:

• How’d you get in?
• What almost stopped you?
• What do you wish someone had told you?

I’m not the authority here; the advice comes from the guests. My job is to find them, ask good questions, and package what they say so it’s actually usable. That’s why every interview comes with a path breakdown — the exact sequence of steps that person took, stripped of the inspiration and left with the instructions.

Some people have stories to tell but don’t want their name on them. Those run as anonymous stories, and they matter just as much.
